- Recently elected Treasurer of the ABN Movement Disorder SIG
- Engaged in diagnostic and biomarker research in the fields of Alzheimer dementia and Parkinson’s disease with over £5.3 million in current grant funding
- Referees numerous manuscript submissions for Neurology, Journal of Neurology, Journal of Neurology, Neuropsychiatry and Neurosurgery and Movement Disorders Journal
- Received the UK Hospital Doctor Award as lead clinician for “The Parkinson’s Disease Team of the Year Award” 2007
- Set up the PD Expert series of meetings and has been a speaker on multiple occasions at Positive Steps, British Geriatric Society and ABN meetings
- Served on numerous national and regional committees for Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders and is a committee member of the International Movement Disorder Society Tremor Classification working party
